Sharing the Gift of Quranic Knowledge and Spiritual Growth

Since 2017, Al Inaayah Institute has been dedicated to nurturing a love for the Quran and Islamic knowledge among females aged 5 and older. Our structured group classes emphasize Quran reading and tajweed, while weekly Islamic studies sessions provide a deeper understanding of faith.

Our Mission

At Al Inaayah Institute, our mission is to inspire a lifelong connection to the Quran and Islamic values by providing classes tailored to learners of all ages. We aim to nurture faith, cultivate spiritual growth, and empower individuals through Quranic literacy, tajweed mastery, and understanding of Islamic principles.

With a commitment to a compassionate, supportive and engaging learning environment, we strive to illuminate young hearts and minds, strengthening love and faith of the deen of Allah (SWT).

Our Story...

Our journey began in the small city of Kenner, Louisiana, inspired by a father’s unwavering commitment to his children’s Islamic education. Frustrated by the lack of suitable after-school Quran classes, he envisioned an environment where his children—and others—could confidently grow in their Islamic identity, nurtured by a love for the Quran and its teachings.

The search for such a setting spanned years and moves, involving private tutors and various Islamic schools, but none matched his vision. In 2011, their father found a Hifdh program for his son and an Islamic seminary in South Africa for his daughters. Before embarking on this transformative journey, he shared his dream with his daughters: to one day return to their community and establish a school that provided the Islamic upbringing he had long sought. Inspired, the daughters eagerly embraced this mission.

In 2012, the sisters began their formal Higher Islamic Studies in South Africa. After years of dedication, they returned in December 2016, ready to fulfill their shared vision. In January 2017, the first all-girls Quran class was held in a humble garage-turned-classroom with just six students. Joined by their brother, who had completed his Hifdh out of state, the siblings worked passionately, teaching Quran and Islamic studies from their home.

By 2018, the school had grown, moving into its current facility in Kenner and evolving into an all-girls learning center. With a philosophy rooted in gentleness, thoroughness, and curiosity, we aim to instill a deep love for Allah, His teachings, and the Quran in our students. We believe a child’s first impression of Islam comes through their teachers, and we hold that responsibility with the utmost seriousness.

Our name, Al Inaayah, reflects our mission and values. In Arabic, Al Inaayah means “care” and “concern,” while in Urdu, it translates to “gift.” This name embodies the essence of our institute: everything we give and share with our students is intended to feel like a gift, offered with sincere care and concern for their Imaan and Islamic knowledge. The establishment of Al Inaayah was rooted in the care and concern our father had for us, and we strive to extend that same love and commitment to our students.

In 2022, we expanded our reach by introducing virtual classes, allowing us to serve students both onsite and online. Today, Al Inaayah stands as a beacon of Islamic education, fostering a nurturing and motivating environment where young girls can thrive spiritually, academically, and personally.

We remain dedicated to equipping our students with the knowledge and confidence they need to become devoted Muslims and ambassadors of Islam in their communities. InshaAllah.

Our logo reflects the core values of Al Inaayah—femininity, grace, and empowerment. The Arabic text is crafted with delicate, wispy strokes to convey a gentle, feminine aesthetic.

A unique feature lies in the alif of the logo, where the empty space artfully forms the silhouette of a girl's hijab, symbolizing modesty, knowledge, and strength. This creative touch serves as a tribute to the sisterhood of our students and their journey toward spiritual and personal growth. The two dots symbolize the two sisters who founded the institute, representing their shared vision and dedication.
